Our inn is located in a beautiful recreational area just a two-minute walk from Lake Greifensee and the historic town center. We are happy to welcome you in our elegant restaurant or on the garden terrace. Various rooms are available for larger events. Comfortable hotel rooms and modern, fully equipped apartments complete our offer.
Nature reserve
The entire lakeshore region is a nature reserve. The popular hiking trail around Lake Greifensee, which runs along this protected zone, offers interesting insights into the fauna and flora and the lake landscape. The Greifensee Foundation organizes nature conservation and recreation projects within the protected area.
The little town of Greifensee
Greifensee is an old Zurich country town and was once the seat of the bailiffs. Today, the historic center is a popular excursion destination and cultural center of the municipality thanks to its buildings and its location on the lake.
Greifensee Castle
The castle was destroyed in the old Zurich War in 1444 and rebuilt around 1520. It dominates the western part of the town.
